You can place a free ad by clicking on the "Start Here" section of our home page, or simply by clicking on this link.

You will need to create a FREE account in order to post ads.  You will also need to have a working email account because we will send you a confirmation email that you will need to verify.  To ensure that you are able to receive our confirmation email, please be sure to add our domain "808classifieds.com" to your "Safe Senders" list.

Any ads you place will automatically go into our printed version of the 808 Classifieds, and will be distributed to the entire Big Island of Hawaii!

  • DEAL LOCALLY WITH FOLKS THAT ARE HERE IN THE ISLANDS, OR THAT YOU CAN MEET PERSONALLY - follow this one simple rule and you will avoid almost all  of the scam attempts on 808classifieds
  • NEVER WIRE FUNDS VIA WESTERN UNION, MONEYGRAM or any other wire service - anyone who asks you to do so is a scammer.
  • FAKE CASHIER CHECKS & MONEY ORDERS ARE COMMON, and BANKS WILL CASH THEM AND THEN HOLD YOU RESPONSIBLE when the fake is discovered weeks later.
  • 808CLASSIFIEDS IS NOT INVOLVED IN ANY TRANSACTION, and does not handle payments, guarantee transactions, provide escrow services, or offer "buyer protection" or "seller certification"
  • NEVER GIVE OUT FINANCIAL INFORMATION (bank account number, social security number, eBay/PayPal info, etc.)
  • AVOID DEALS INVOLVING SHIPPING OR ESCROW SERVICES and know that ONLY A SCAMMER WILL "GUARANTEE" YOUR TRANSACTION.
